This retreat center is a magical place, where the rainforest meets the Caribbean Sea. It is nestled in the lush jungle and a few steps from the Caribbean Sea, an intentional space perfect for disconnecting from the busy world and reconnecting with your true self.
All the logistics are taken care of from the moment we arrive at the international airport in San Jose. A private shuttle will be there to pick us up and so the retreat begins! Make note the dates changed as we will be staying Saturday to Saturday March 22-29 2025, rather than Sunday through Sunday.
The resort offers three different yoga studios to practice, all of which make you feel at one with nature. They have plenty of Yoga props on site. Fresh drinking water is accessible everywhere at the center for free. No plastic water bottles!!!! (If you know me, you know that brightens my world ).
The buildings are distributed over an area of 14 acres using the natural clearings in the forest to build the resort. The water in the rooms is heated by solar panels to cut down the use of electricity.
The accommodations are single, double and dorm rooms. The rooms are newly built. They are spacious and colorful and AC and Wifi is also provided in all the rooms.
Three vegetarian meals daily are included in the cost of the retreat. The delicious meals are made from scratch every day. Upon request and for additional cost, you may request fish, chicken and other seafood as well. They use organic vegetables and fruits locally grown. The retreat center composts all leftovers. This compost is put back as fertilizer in the garden.
The gorgeous swimming pool with a whirlpool and hammocks is an inviting place to refresh and relax. They even have a sloth friend that likes to hang out nearby!
In the spa, they offer a variety of massages like relaxing massages, deep tissue massages, Thai massages and much more...
A pristine beach 8 miles long is located 200 yards from the rooms.
You may also venture on additional excursions. There is something to offer for everyone, such as snorkeling, a tour of the Nationalpark, the sloth center, bird and dolphin watching, chocolate tour, surfing, zip-lining, kayaking, indigenous people and healing plant medicine, horseback riding and endless pristine beaches.

About Heather:
Heather began her yoga journey in 2010 attending her very first yoga class. After that class, yoga became not only a practice for her, but a lifestyle. In 2015, she completed Fox Valley Teacher Training in Batavia, IL with Karen Weber. Heather has not only taught at a variety of studios, but also at yoga retreats, corporate yoga classes, yoga workshops & goat yoga events. In addition to her 200 hour teaching certificate, she also holds a certificate in Yoga Nidra. She says, “Yoga has not only helped me heal physically, but emotionally as well. It makes my soul happy to share my practice with others through teaching.” When not on her mat teaching or practicing different styles of yoga, she enjoys outdoor fests, hiking in nature, concerts, traveling on a dime, hanging with friends, reality tv, sleeping and finding yummy new Mexican restaurants. She also loves spending quality time with her 3 grown children. Her all-time Favorite quote, “Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and to endure what cannot be cured”- BKS Iyengar
